Loramar Services is always looking for qualified Supportive Roommates to help support the Individuals we work with. We look for Supportive Roommate service providers that are committed to safe, supportive, and respectful relationships, to help support individuals with developmental disabilities.

Police Security Clearance and Child Welfare Check(MUST be renewed and submitted annually).
Proof Of current Covid 19 Vaccination (must be kept current)
A valid Emergency First Aid & Level A CPR certificate every Three (3) years.
Drivers Abstract (MUST be renewed and submitted annually).
Home Owners Insurance (MUST be renewed and submitted annually).
Automobile Liability Insurance 2 MILLION (MUST be renewed and submitted annually).
An approved hot water regulator installed on hot water tank (PDD directive), AND water tested and recorded EVERYTIME the individual bathes.
Medication Course is required. (MUST be renewed every three (3) years).
If the individual requires behavioral interventions, then a course and/or experience in Crisis Prevention Institute Training (C.P.I.), Physical Assault Response Training (P.A.R.T.), Responding to Aggressive People (R.A.P.), or Intervening with Challenging Behavior is required.
Knowledge of the Persons with Development Disabilities Abuse Reporting Protocol. Training is provided every three years through Loramar Services Ltd.
Knowledge of Restrictive Procedures. Monitors are trained in the MANDT system.
Knowledge of Confidentiality issues and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
In Compliance with FIOP requirements; the surrendering of all documentation (be it electronic, written, or mechanically reproduced) to a Loramar Services Ltd. Representative (monitor or director to ensure no documents remain on sub-contractors computers).
A home visit and opportunity to meet all the individuals who reside in the home.
A knowledge, understanding, awareness and commitment to the Individuals Rights.
A knowledge, awareness and recognition of potential Conflicts of Interest.
Sub-contractor must include Family/Guardian in all correspondence relating to the individual they reside with.
The acknowledgement that the Conditions for Approval must be maintained.
Three (3) character references.
